About This Project

The Goal: To grow Business to Consumer (B2C) newsletter mailing list.

The Strategy: Using generosity marketing tactics for lead generation, Eucalan offered a free crochet pattern from well-known designer Kristin Omdahl, with whom they have an ongoing product relationship through their Wrapture delicate wash. We created a landing page prompting consumers to sign up for the Eucalan mailing list to get a free PDF download of the pattern; the Ravelry pattern page also pointed to this landing page for delivery of the pattern. A sequence of automated emails in Constant Contact provided a download link for the pattern in a welcome email.

The Result: The client grew their B2C newsletter list by 45% in the first 3 months of this campaign.
