Zen Yarn Garden Impressionist Collection

The Goal:

Produce a themed collection of patterns inspired by great impressionist painters to fit with the brand’s established theme of art-inspired colorways. 

The Strategy: 

We created a call for submissions to send out to our network of reliable, well-known designers and assisted the client in reviewing the submissions. We developed a style guide and pattern design template in conjunction with the client and interfaced with the designers to ensure clear communication throughout the process. Stitchcraft also provided technical editing, test knitting management, and graphic layout services; and assisted with the launch of the collection on Ravelry and the client’s blog. 

The Result:

This pattern collection was released ahead of schedule to great reviews and sales, and we have received tremendous feedback from the designers and knitters. Patterns have received an average of 150 favorites on Ravelry to date.
