Julie is someone who loves to stay busy! She is obsessed with knitting and writing, adores social media and reads about twenty different blogs a day. She has a BA from Trent University, and lives with her husband and two kids in Toronto, Canada. She learned to knit from her grandmother when she was seven years old, but it was living in Istanbul and seeing the beautiful designs found in Turkish knitting that she picked it up again. For the last five years she has also been designing knitting patterns. While her creative energies are mostly spent on knitting and pattern designing, she also loves embroidery, especially on garments. If she isn’t knitting she can be found reading, writing, blogging, and taking photos of her knitting or kids (and probably instagramming!).
